Porter is a modern American gastropub situated on the ground level of the RiverHouse11 luxury apartment complex in Weehawken, New Jersey. We are conveniently located steps from the NY Waterway Port Imperial Ferry Terminal and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, on the edge of the Hudson River, bringing an elevated yet accessible neighborhood dining experience to local residents and visitors alike.
Our kitchen is helmed by Executive Chef Christopher Lim and Executive Pastry Chef Tara Glick, who met while working for Marc Forgione’s American Cut in Atlantic City. The pair’s unique talents and seasonal sensibilities blend to bring you a collaborative menu of cravable cuisine.
Enjoy shareable small plates, coal-fired entrees, wood-fired pizzas, and large-format selections for the table. Porter also offers a robust bar program complete with a selection of domestic and imported draft beer, an eclectic wine list, and signature cocktails. Our café and bakery, Porter Provisions, will offer house made pastries and ice cream, as well as La Colombe coffee. With something for everyone, Porter will be your go-to spot for any occasion.
We look forward to welcoming you in our 115 seat dining room and our 80 seat outdoor patio when we open our doors this Fall. We will serve dinner seven nights a week, with weekend brunch to begin in the weeks following opening.
