Executive Pastry Chef/Beverage, Porter

Tara Glick was born and raised on the Jersey Shore and brings over 10 years of experience to her position as Executive Pastry Chef and Beverage Director of Porter in Weehawken, New Jersey. After graduating from the Classic Pastry Arts program at the International Culinary Center in New York City, Glick gained professional experience working in top kitchens like Locanda Verde and Maialino. In 2012, Glick joined the opening team at American Cut in Atlantic City, and continued to open locations in Tribeca and Midtown in the years to come.  During her tenure with American Cut, Glick’s whimsical desserts and baked goods earned media attention from New York Magazine, NJ Monthly, and NBC New York. Prior to opening Porter, Glick took some time away from the kitchen to learn the beverage side of the restaurant industry. She spent two years working on the beverage team at Eataly, immersing herself in the study of wine and spirits.
